Ishan Khosla Design is a full-service design firm based in New Delhi, India. Ishan Khosla
has been working in the United States of America for several years and before moving to
New Delhi, India in 2008, to start Ishan Khosla Design
We specialize in Print Design: such as books, brochures, movie posters, music album covers,
catalogues and packaging as well as web design, logo & identity design and branding.

About Ishan Khosla
Ishan Khosla is a artist, photographer and designer based in New Delhi, India. Initially
educated in Computer Science, Ishan became obsessed with the
visual world after he lost
a
part of his vision.
Ishan has lived and worked in the United States of America for 12 years and holds a Master
of Fine Arts (MFA) from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Ishan hopes to advance the
role of design in India. His MFA thesis at the School of Visual Arts in New York, was about
establishing a new kind of design college in India. An institution that looks at the Indian
context when using design for the amelioration of society.
His design work has been published by The New York Times, Graphis (New York), Plazm
Magazine and by the :Output Foundation (Germany and the Netherlands). He has received
the Worldstudio Foundation Award (New York) for designers who contribute socially and
environmentally to their country. In collaboration with Worldstudio, Ishan participated in Value
Meal: Design and (over)Eating which was shown at the Storefront for
Architecture in New York
City and at the International Design Biennale in Saint-Etienne, France.
Ishan has extensively photographed in the Unites States, India and Europe. His images are
about the human condition and the human presence—even those images that are devoid of any
people. Whether it is the street photography in Bombay, protests in New York or Italian
architecture, his work tends to sympathize with the subject.
He has won numerous photography awards such as
the International Photo Awards in Los
Angeles where he placed 2nd and 3rd in the Street and Travel photography categories respectively.
Ishan has held 5 solo exhibitions at venues such as: the NCPA, the Nehru Center and the Italian
Embassy’s Festa Italia at Olive in Mumbai. In Delhi his work was exhibited at the India International
Center and India Habitat Center. His work has been featured on CNN’s Style South Asia, NDTV, India
Today, The Singapore Straits Times, The Times of India, Indian Express and The Hindustan Times.
